Coined after the Knoya Ridge Run, the Ridgeline Racerback was inspired by all the summer activities we love. As a team that bonded together by our like-outdoor interests, you can find us hiking, biking, backpacking and boating our way through the sweltering summer heat! Heat, that is, that DEMANDED a sleeveless option. And here's a secret: you helped too. Your endless encouragement and inquiries about a summer-weight base layer were an impressively sized driving force on the creation of these tanks--and we dare say that they were worth the wait.
The Ridgeline Racerback tank top is destined to be your new eco-conscious summer love. At Alpine Fit, we do everything we can to ensure that our products, processes, and packaging are as clean & green as they can be. Our Ridgeline Racerback tank boasts two different kinds of fabric that contain recycled materials!
We used different fabrics to create our Tidewater Green tank and its sister, the Obsidian Cove Black tank. Both colors are born of technical, odor-resistant, moisture wicking materials, and will always be offered in two fits throughout the size range (more on our fits below).
Our Obsidian Cove Black tank is made from Umorfil® Fabric, which is a bionic nylon made with peptide amino acids from recycled ocean materials, like fish scales! Ironically enough, this composition makes for a naturally deodorizing super soft fabric that is moisture transporting AND sensitive skin friendly--ocean smell not included!
Similarly, our Tidewater Green tank is made from a recycled Nylon called REPREVE®, which offers odor control, thermal regulation, and moisture management. This batch was hand-dyed in our studio workshop in Anchorage, Alaska. This color is part of an extremely limited edition and is expected to go fast!
The prints we present on our products are segments cut from a larger printed work of art making each garment unique. This means that the segment of print shown in photos will differ from your garment and anyone else who has one.
We offer two fits for different body proportions, Wild Iris and Alpine Azalea. If you identify with having a “straight up and down” body shape, you will likely enjoy the way Wild Iris flatters your frame. Alpine Azalea is likely the fit for you if you identify with having a more defined hip to waist ratio. If you are ever unsure about your preferred fit, please reference our sizing chart, linked below.
